PROFESSIONALLY SPEAKING, this means I’ve worked with companies like Cirque du Soleil, Apple Corps. Ltd., MGM Resorts International, Desigual, Michael Jackson Estate and FUJI Television Network directing design, branding and development for consumer products and retail environments. I founded Six Degrees – a designer millinery & accessories brand, and retail store in Toronto’s Queen West shopping district. Modern Heirlooms is my newest project.
PERSONALLY SPEAKING, this means that I love to create things with my hands, and I’m energized by developing creative concepts holistically. I love doing one on one projects – like Modern Heirlooms – with individual clients. AND, I equally love collaborating on larger scale projects with organizations. Either way, the focus is doing human-centric and sustainable work that pushes creative boundaries.
Whatever I’m doing, you can be sure that I’m…CREATING MEANING THROUGH DESIGN.
I am a little bit obsessed with capturing life’s beautiful, inspiring, and meaningful moments. Surrounding ourselves with the memories of the people and places that uplift and sustain us brings us joy. Connecting people by designing and creating these experiences is what gives me goosebumps. The good kind.
ATELIER SIX is both a handmade atelier and a design studio + consultancy helping people and organizations create evocative objects and experiences that connect us to one another. Our approach is human-centred, emotion-rich and design-based.
We make Modern Heirlooms: Quilts with a modern aesthetic, made from sentimental clothing to capture memories. And, we help creatives develop their businesses and organizations build creative content. Contact us to talk about your project.
